Head's Welcome

On behalf of our staff, governors and children, I warmly welcome you to Heather Ridge Infant School.

We are a happy, welcoming and friendly infant school who strongly believes in offering children “irresistible learning for life’s endless possibilities”.

At Heather Ridge we are committed to our children. We want them to discover, explore and question their world. To encourage them to realise their dreams as well as achieving their own academic excellence and be the best that they can be.

Our aim is to deliver an enriching, stimulating curriculum where every child is valued as an individual. We aspire to foster a love of learning and for all children to be happy and confident.

At Heather Ridge our dedicated teaching staff strive to create a vibrant atmosphere where learning is fun, exciting and challenging. Through recognition, challenge and praise in a nurturing environment, children are supported in developing a positive self-image and make excellent progress in their intellectual, personal, social and emotional development.

We are extremely proud of our school and have an amazing community of the governing body, parents and the local neighbourhood who work closely together with us for the benefit of all. On stepping through our doors you will find motivated, happy, healthy children engaged in purposeful activities in a safe and caring environment. By working in close partnership with you, we believe we offer an enriching and successful start to your child's schooling.
